We are upgraded!

As of 5:00 this afternoon, I resolved the problem with the MT 3.2 upgrade, and have successfully switched us over! We are now running the most recent version of MT. My next task is to install the MT Blacklist plugin.

As a result of this, there is now a new URL to log into MT:

http://bloggery.wlu.edu/mt32/mt.cgi

The old URL will no longer work.

For those of you who are curious, the problem was that the default installation of MT 3.2 has unix line breaks in the code, which windows can't read. Thus, the scripts were failing. I discovered this totally by accident-I opened one of the source files in notepad and saw that it was all run together as one long line, at which point the problem was obvious. I'd like to note that there is nothing about this in the MT documentation, and MT tech support had no clue-they insisted the problem was caused by server permissions, which resulted in my wasting countless hours looking at the web server configuration and NTFS file permissions.

Pardon my language, but it's ^@^%ing miller time.
