I have set up a web page from which you can download and install upgrades and new tools for your Tablet PC. It is located here: http://itl.wlu.edu/tabletpc/
When we meet Friday (noon, Northen Auditorium), I'd like to address the following:
1.) OneNote Service Pack Two: This is an upgrade that includes some new features related to importing Microsoft Office documents into OneNote.
2.) Classroom Presenter: I'll demonstrate a really amazing application that allows instructor and students to share and collaborate on materials (a PowerPoint presentation, a quiz, a poll) in class using Tablet PCs. Here is a link to the University of Washington CompSci department, where this has been developed: http://www.cs.washington.edu/education/dl/presenter/ . I also have a short video on Classroom Presenter that I'd like to show you.
3.) Our blog: I'll introduce you to a blog I have set up to share our experiences, tips, and questions.
4.) Your experience using Tablet PCs so far. I haven't heard many questions lately, so I hope that means you're up and running smoothly. In any event, I am eager to hear how it's going.
Lunch will be provided for this meeting, though it might wind up being pizza because every catering outfit in the city is booked up with Parents Weekend events.
I look forward to seeing you Friday.
This blog will serve as the primary repository of information and discussion of Tablet PC use at Washington and Lee.
I will add comments, questions, tips, meeting notes from our pilot users group, as well as links to other resources.
