Acrobat PDF Annotator

I have some PDFs I use for presentation in class, and I often read journal articles in PDF format. I've been looking around the web, and it turns out that the annotation features in Reader and Acrobat just are not digital ink friendly—As you'll note if you try to quickly mark up a PDF doc. One solution is to print it to OneNote, and mark it up there, but if you don't print it page by page, it come out in one note as one giant page. Not good.

I did find a fairly cheap program called PDF annotator, which I am trying out. It does most of what you would expect Acrobat to do. here are some links:
