New for Sociology and Anthropology

Washington and Lee University has gained access to a group of subscription-only databases which should further improve our abilty to retrieve articles from journals, magazines, and newspapers.
All these products are made available through our participation in the VIVA consortium of academic libraries in Virginia.

Sociology and Anthropology students and faculty might be particular interested in two of the newly-available databases -- Academic Search Complete and Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection.

Note: This general-purpose database will replace two existing subscriptions -- Academic OneFile and Expanded Academic Index -- that will not be renewed.

Created by the National Association of Social Workers, this 20th edition (2008) is a four-volume set, containing about 400 articles which "cover all aspects of social, work from practice and interventions, social environments, social conditions and challenges, to social policy and history."
