Preparing for a Redesign: What You Can Do Now (Part I)

Web Services Luncheon Seminar, Thursday, April 19th:
Washington and Lee Web Services will be hosting a seminar on preparing your site for a redesign on Thursday, April 19th, from 12:15-1:15 p.m. in Northen Auditorium (lunch provided). All are invited.

Preparing for a Redesign: What You Can Do Now (Part I):
Does your site design recall the very beginnings of the Internet? Are you hoping that your retro look will again become stylish? Are you overwhelmed by the magnitude of content you maintain? Maybe it's time for a fresh start.

A good website starts with good content. But that content also needs to be organized in an intuitive manner and presented in a style that facilitates easy navigation and immediate understanding. Learn how the pros take stale sites and breath new life into them. W&L Web Services will walk you through the steps necessary to identify your primary audiences, what they are looking for, which web conventions to adapt or ditch, and what content from your existing site should be scrapped, reworked or re-used.

Program begins at 12:15 PM, in Northen Auditorium. Lunch beginning at noon.

RSVP by email to: owsleye@wlu.edu.
