Census Bureau Poverty Estimates, 2005

The U.S. Census Bureau has now completed the publication of data for 2005 in the Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates series.
These annual data, one of the most important collections of poverty information in the U.S., are available for the state, country, and school district levels from this interactive Census Bureau site.

Statistical Abstract of the United States, 2008

U.S. Census Bureau.
Available online.   Printed copy to be added to the collection.
This annual publication probably is the single most generally-useful collection of statistical information on the U.S. The new 2008 edition contains over 900 tables, including 64 new compilations.
