Latest annual report on the "impact" of important political science journals, measured as the "number of all current citations to source items published in a journal over the previous two years and dividing by the number of articles published in the journal during the same period."

The University Library continues to develop its online collection of reference electronic books ("e-books"). These books are listed in Annie and in various pages in the library's Web site. W&L students and faculty can use them from any location where they can log into to the computing network, whether on campus or elsewhere.

With its wealth of newspaper and magazine articles and broadcast news transcripts, LexisNexis Academic has been one of the most popular online resources at W&L for several years.
For better or worse, the publishers have unveiled (unleashed?) a radically-overhauled version of LexisNexis Academic, with not only a significantly different search interface, but with a new structure to the whole database.
In short, things ain't where they used to be.
