The Washington and Lee University Library has acquired online access to two recently-released major encyclopedias from Oxford University Press -- the Oxford Encyclopedia of Human Rights and the Oxford Encyclopedia of the Modern World.
The latter title includes an entry on the The Automobile Industry by W&L Professor of Economics Mike Smitka.
These two multi-volume "electronic books" are available online to current W&L students, faculty, and staff from just about any location allowing access to the W&L computing network, on-campus or off-campus. (If your first attempt to link does not work, back up and try again.)
