Graphic Novels on Display

Leyburn Library is home to a display entitled "The Graphic Novel," featuring a selection of books from the library's collection chosen by Jemma Mayer, Circulation Assistant in the library. The display is located on the Main Floor lobby and will be available throughout the month of January.

What exactly is a graphic novel? For an introduction, take a look at this article from the Oxford Companion to Twentieth-Century Literature in English.

There are quite a few graphic novels in the library collection, but, unfortunately, they are not shelved together or gathered under any one subject label. In addition to the titles on display, you can find a few more by searching Annie under the Subject graphic novels.
