Presenting Sharyn McCrumb
The Friends of the Library of Washington and Lee are pleased to present best-selling author Sharyn McCrumb talking about “Grassroots Saints and Honky Tonk Heroes”. Her appearance is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday 6 October in Leyburn Library's Northen Auditorium.
Ms. McCrumb is extremely proud of her southern roots; her family settled in North Carolina over a hundred years ago. “Her award-winning novels celebrating the history and folklore of Appalachia have received scholarly acclaim and ranked on the New York Times Best-Seller list.”
Ms. McCrumb's presentation is free and open to the public and will be followed by a book-signing. Copies of her books will be available for purchase.
