New Student-Edited Journal

Unbound: Harvard Journal of the Legal Left, the newest journal at Harvard Law School is free and published exclusively online. See the coverage in the The Record (HLS independent newspaper) of the journal's current probationary status. The journal's submissions webpage says, "Unbound seeks to undo the traditional hierarchies of the student-edited legal journal. To that end, writers are responsible for their own citations, and student editors will provide substantive feedback on the arguments made. We're interested in intellectual interaction -- not housekeeping for authors." This is a refreshing approach, and one, in my view, that should be taken by far more U.S. legal journals
