W&L Alum on Fresh Air

Washington and Lee University alumnus Alex Jones ('68), director of Harvard University's Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy, is a guest on National Public Radio's Fresh Air program on Tuesday 18 August.
From NPR's description: "Newspapers are in trouble, and many Web sites, blogs and cable news shows have opinionated hosts at the helm. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Alex Jones talks about his book, Losing the News, and the crisis facing impartial reporting."
Audio and more are available from the above link (some time after 3:00 on 8/18/09).
On-air broadcast is scheduled for 6:30 PM on NPR affiliate WVTF.

Still in beta testing (August 2009), this service enables researchers to analyze the content of the JSTOR database, including data on word frequencies, publication patterns, key terms, and more. The downloading of data sets is not yet available. Some interesting terms to try:
