Prepared at the request of the Senate Budget Committee, this paper "uses data from national surveys to examine the economic resources over a 15-year period for low-income households with children. Cross-sectional data are used to identify changes in the sources of income for that group over time. Longitudinal data are used to follow a group of households, classified as lowincome households in one year, to show how the economic resources of a given household
might change over a three-year period."

Foreign-Born Workers: Labor Force Characteristics in 2006

This BLS contribution to the ongoing discussion of aliens in the U.S. finds that "foreign-born workers’ share of the U.S. workforce continued to grow... In 2006, foreign-born workers made up 15.3 percent of the U.S. civilian labor force age 16 and over, up from 14.8 percent in 2005."

This annual report is entitled Country Reports on Terrorism. Beginning with the report for 2004, it replaced the previously published Patterns of Global Terrorism. "
