Join us Parents Weekend, Thursday, Oct. 29, for the annual Friends Book Sale preview. Each year the University Library holds a book sale during Parents Weekend. Friends are given the opportunity to preview and purchase books prior to anybody else. This year's preview is from 4 - 8 p.m. on Oct. 29. We hope to see you there!
Join us and bring your kids and grandkids on October 10 at 10 a.m. On the patio outside Northen Auditorium we will have face painting, book arts and up-close-and-personal adventures with live animals from the Virginia Safari Park. "Minders" will be available to help keep children safe (and corralled!).
Inside Northen, for the grown-ups, we have Stephanie Wilkinson, co-founder of Brain, Child magazine. A morning NOT TO BE MISSED.
