Post your thoughts here. What will become of our country? Will religion and evolution find peaceful coexistence? Has it already? Do people (on both sides) avoid thinking too much about these issues because the potential dissonance is unsettling. What do you think?
While we're discussing religion and science, let's dive right into a hot topic. Why does Western culture (and most others) operate on a patriarchal system -- predominately run by men (just look at our Presidents). Is there an evolutionary explanation for how this came to be? Will it persist or not? If not, will it be egalitarian (with regard to gender) or Matriarchal (run by women)? Your thoughts?
